What counts as one scan?
One API call = one scan, regardless of how many barcodes are in the image. A carton with 50 items under the camera → one capture → one scan used.
How many stations can I add on PRO?
PRO starts with 1 station included. You can add more stations at an additional monthly cost per station (visible on the billing page slider). Scale up to 10+ stations on a single PRO plan.
What is the 14-day trial?
Every new account gets 100 evaluation scans and 1 station at zero cost — no credit card required. Use this to test the full integration before upgrading.
What hardware do I need?
Any Android smartphone with a 12MP+ camera and a standard flexible desk arm or tripod. No proprietary scanners. No specialist industrial hardware.
Does the Keyboard Wedge work with SAP?
Yes. The Wedge simulates keyboard input so it works with any application that accepts keyboard input — SAP GUI, Oracle Forms, Excel, Tally, Notepad, any web WMS.
Can I use BarqScanner without a developer?
Yes. The Keyboard Wedge requires zero integration — install it on the warehouse PC, connect with your API key, and barcodes type themselves into whatever application has focus.
What happens when I hit the scan limit?
Scans stop processing. Your API keys still work but return a 429 limit error until the next billing cycle or until you upgrade.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel from Dashboard → Settings → Billing → Cancel Subscription. You retain access until the current billing period ends. No refund for the current period on monthly plans.
